  • Audio/visual data. We collect video data of commercial drivers operating equipment in our fleet.
  • Professional or Employment Information. We collect job application details, previous work history, salary wage expectation, reference or background checks, drug test results, professional memberships, personnel number, job title role, office location, company entity, compensation and bonus data, benefits data, dependency information, emergency contact information, direct deposit banking details, time tracking, absence and annual leave, corporate credit card numbers, travel booking details, expense details, performance rating, records of disciplinary action, health and safety related information, workers compensation claims, grievances and complaints, exit interview and comments, and reasons for termination.
  • Non-public Education Information. We collect education history, degrees, qualifications and certifications.
  • Sensitive Personal Information. We collect government issued identification numbers (e.g., social security, driver’s license, state identification card, passport number and Account Log-In (e.g., username and password to online account with us).

We collect information in a variety of ways:

  • Directly from you. We collect contact information, identifiers, financial information, personal characteristics or traits, commercial information, biometric information, professional or employment information, non-public education information and sensitive personal information that you provide directly to us.
  • When you visit our offices. When you visit our offices or facilities, we also collect contact information.
  • When you utilize our equipment. When you utilize the trucks within our fleet, we collect the geolocation data of that truck and video data of the driver operating the truck.
  • Automatically. When you access our websites, we collect identifiers, geolocation data, and internet or electronic usage data using tools like browser cookies.
  • From third parties, vendors and service providers: We may collect identifiers, commercial information, applicant information, and background check information.

Purposes for Collecting Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Transactional Purposes: We use contact information, identifiers, financial information, and commercial information to: (i) allow you to receive the products and services that we offer; (ii) to communicate with you; and (iii) provide supporting business activities such as billing and collections, procurement, and tax related activities.

We use contact information, identifiers, personal characteristics or traits, biometric information, professional or employment information, non-public education information and sensitive personal information for the purpose of administering employment activities such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, communication, payroll, employment benefits, travel planning, union reporting and employee recognition.

  • Maintenance and Improvement of our Website and Systems: We use internet or electronic usage data to improve our website and systems, provide and maintain functionality on our website and systems, and help us diagnose technical and service problems and administer our website and systems. Maintenance of our systems includes activities such as supporting employee account administration for network and applications, applying security controls for company systems, providing new system implementations, applying change management processes, and providing IT Service Desk / Help Desk Support.
  • Develop and Improve Our Products and Services: We use contact information, identifiers, financial information, commercial information, geolocation data and professional or employment information to help us develop new products and services and to improve and analyze our existing products and service offerings.

How We Share Information With Others

This Website is Not Intended for Children

We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Marketing Communications

We are based in the United States. We have not “shared” and do not “share” (as those terms are defined in the CCPA) personal information. We do not knowingly share the personal information of minors under the age of 16.

Your Rights Under the CCPA

  • You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not discriminate against you, deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you with a lesser quality of services if you exercise any of your CCPA rights.

If you choose to use the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) browser signal, you will only be opted out of online sales or sharing of Personal Information, and will need to turn it on for each browser you use. Exercising Your Rights Under the CCPA

For all requests, you must provide us with your name, email address, and phone number. Failure to provide all of the foregoing information may prevent us from processing your request. For an online request to delete, we will also send you a second verification to confirm that you want your information to be deleted.
In order to designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, you must provide a signed, written authorization as requested in the Webform or to us at privacy@worldoilcorp.com.
